Job Description

We are seeking a new wordpress developer to join our team. You will be able to develop a wide variety of optimized, user-friendly sites. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering optimized, user-friendly sites., and show amazing attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
• Collaborate with members of a creative team
• Manage front-end and back-end website development
• Create WordPress plug-ins and themes
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers
• Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a preference for a computer science related field
• Demonstrable wordpress skills with a strong portfolio
• Knowledge of and/or experience with the Genesis Framework
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
